Fern Cabin stands alone in a bracken meadow with mountains closing the horizon on three sides. Power is solar, water is spring-fed, and the nearest light is a farmhouse two valleys over.
Stay up late at least once. Snowdonia is a designated dark-sky reserve, and on a clear night the Milky Way is unmistakable from the doorstep.

Lamps off for twenty minutes and let your eyes adjust. Milky Way.
