Gorski Lazi stands alone in the woods above Tršće, in one of the greenest and quietest corners of Croatia. Air is cool even in summer, and the loudest thing most days is rain on the roof.
This is the closest thing here to a full disconnect: a wood-warmed room, a small terrace, deep forest in every direction, and no reason to look at a screen.
